Yachtskipper is a service company in the yachting industry. We offer yacht deliveries, practical trainings and management of yachts. Yachtskipper is commissioned by private parties as well as by dealers and shipyards from all over Europe. The possible duration of our operations can range from hours to years. The field of application is mostly in Europe, but also beyond. Yachtskipper is a maritime service provider that can guarantee high quality by a careful selection of our staff and firm standards in an unstructured market.

Rainer Holtorff

S K I P P E R

has worked as a skipper for owners, travel companies, sailing schools and large corporations on vessels from 20 to 120 feet. By now he has skippered over 80 different yachts, including several long passages in many areas of the world. He has a German Offshore Licence (SHS), is a RYA-Yachtmaster Offshore and in 2013 became the first non-Englishman to be named Yachtmaster of the Year by the Royal Yachting Association. Lately, sails mostly in the Atlantic and the North Sea. At home in Hamburg/Germany he organizes deliveries, trainings and other services in the name of Yachtskipper.de/eu.

Thomas Götzen

S K I P P E R

Started as an regatta sailor at the age of eight, he has never recovered from the sailing virus. Thomas is now a part of the Yachtskipper team, either as a skipper or Co-Skipper on deliveries for yachts offshore, or in the back office for the weather routing our offshore teams. As an administrator at Yachtskipper he is also responsible for the technical implementation of the website of our German and European websites to.

Christian Liedmeier

SHORE MANAGEMENT

has been working at a sailing school at the age of 6 and has remained faithful to the water ever since. Among other things, he works as a sailing instructor and coach and takes care of organizational processes at Yachtskipper.de. As a Skipper, he also does deliveries and cruises. In the company, he is the consultant when it comes to economic processes.

Captain Lennart

Navigator

As a captain, he sailed on merchant ships around the world. Previously, he completed an apprenticeship as a boat builder (he was the first apprentice of the German shipyard Yachtbau Janssen & Renkhoff). He also skippered for decades for various suppliers of sailing trips. He benefits from this practical experience and his expertise in the organization and execution of yacht deliveries at Yachtskipper.de. But he prefers to follow his passion for sailing and takes the helm himself.
