The passage is to take place in the next suitable weather window, likely at the end of next week. Accordingly, a certain degree of flexibility in terms of timing would be important.

The yacht is considered technically well prepared, and the route (or the reverse route) was sailed without any issues only recently.

This passage will be carried out by an experienced, qualified skipper with experience on the Baltic Sea–North Sea–Atlantic–Mediterranean route. The owner is a worldly Italian entrepreneur with a strong sense of adventure who would like to experience this passage himself on his Hallberg-Rassy. The current crew member is scheduled to disembark on May 7, so we are still looking for an experienced female or male crew member on a work-for-berth basis. With full participation, there will be no costs for this person.

Classic North Atlantic passage:
For the delivery of an OVNI 455 CC (“Alita”) from Terceira (Azores) to Cherbourg, we are looking for an experienced co-skipper / watchkeeper.

The owner has many years of offshore experience (North/Baltic Sea, Mediterranean, Atlantic, Pacific) and usually sails this route with two people. Support on board is needed for this passage.

The Arcona 430 is a high-quality yacht from Sweden, comparable to a Hallberg-Rassy. The yacht is well-equipped and seaworthy. Further details will be provided directly to the crew member.

For this passage, we are looking for an experienced, qualified skipper with extensive experience on the North Sea–Baltic Sea route. The owner will be on board, so this will be a two-handed passage. Job on a daily rate basis.  

– We are looking for 2–3 experienced crew members + a professional skipper who can commit around 4 weeks. You should be able to stand watch independently (as watch leader), be seaworthy, and have good social skills. The very pleasant owner couple will be on board part of the time and values privacy (please limit social media during this period).

– Start, depending on the weather window, at the end of March 2026 in the IJsselmeer, heading to Antibes.

The yacht has just returned from a refit at the yard and is in good condition. All sails can be operated hydraulically from the helm station. Large deck saloon with good all-round visibility for cold nights, etc. There are 3 comfortable double cabins for skipper and crew. Travel costs will be reimbursed if you sail the entire passage.
